YoByke Drift DX+

Priced at ₹70,000, the Drift DX+ from Gujarat-based YoBykes is their most expensive model and comes in six colours. With a top speed of 25 km/h, the vehicle doesn’t require registration or a licence to be ridden.

The battery output is 250 W and has a range of up to 80 km, depending on usage. The electric scooter also boasts a reverse mode, a reverse assist feature that activates the wheel to spin the opposite way

Ampere Magnus LT

Coimbatore-based Ampere Vehicles offers five electric scooters, with the Ampere Magnus LT being one of the more affordable options. Powered by a 1.5 kW motor, the EV scooter has a maximum power output of 1.8 kW and a top speed of 45 km/h.

It has a range of 80 km and a charging time of 6 hours with normal charging. With an ex-showroom price of ₹84,900, the Magnus LT falls within the ₹1 lakh bracket and is available in three colours. Ampere also provides a 3-year warranty and roadside assistance to its customers. The scooter includes a reverse mode as an added feature.

Ola S1 X

With electric scooter sales soaring in the country, no EV list is complete without the competent models from Ola Electric. The company has established itself as a leader in the EV scooter industry with the highest sales figures. The S1 X, their latest addition, comes in four variants, and the base model is available at an attractive on-road price within a lakh.


The S1 X base model features a 2 kWh battery, a riding range of 95 km, and a top speed of 85 km/h. Available in seven different colours, Ola Electric also provides an 8-year battery warranty on the model.

Lectrix SX25

The SX25 from Lectrix is an electric scooter that doesn’t require licence or registration to be ridden as the maximum speed is only 25 km/h. The model comes in 4 colours and two variants – a lead acid battery variant priced at ₹61000 and a lithium battery variant priced at ₹75000. With its 1.4 kWh battery, the Lectrix SX25 has a range of 60km and takes about 8 hours to charge fully.

Hero Electric Atria LX

Hero’s electric scooters have been garnering a lot of attention in the EV market, with the Hero Vida being the preferred model from the veteran brand. Priced under ₹80,000, the Atria LX is one of their more budget-friendly models.

Equipped with a 250 W electric motor, the scooter has a top speed of 25 km/h and doesn’t require a licence or registration. It features a 1.54 kWh lithium battery and has a range of 85 km. Hero also provides a 3-year standard warranty on the battery.
