Finance Executive

We are looking to speak with competent candidates who hold either a CA or an MBA for the position of Finance Manager situated in Bengaluru, to ensure the smooth running of the business on a daily basis, you will be responsible for managing the finances, budgeting and forecasting, compliances, and financial analysis and planning.

Roles & Responsibilities :

1. Financial Accounting and Analysis –

  • Ensure the company’s books of account are always accurate and up-to-date.
  • Preparation of monthly and yearly financial statements, management information systems, and board reports.
  • Assist in establishing company objectives and implementing prompt corrective measures

2. Compliances

  • Coordinating with multiple experts and ensuring that all labour and commercial compliance regulations are constantly met.
  • Compliance pertaining to certain events, such as fundraising, is handled
  • All ROC and RBI filings are performed as and when informed

3. Budgeting 

  • Assist in the formulation of the organization’s budget – Liaison with departments on monthly budget and consumption; provide variance analysis
  • Provide management with a report on deviations from the approved budget and the reasons for such deviations

4. Audit and Due-diligences

  • Own up and close audits, both regulatory and internal.
  • Conduct your own due diligence when necessary by investors or prospective investors

5. Process Management 

  • Keep a set of accounting policies and procedures documented.
  • Manage contracted-out functions

6. Management of Funds 

  • Ensure adequate funds are available to satisfy ongoing operating and capital expenditure needs
  • Maintain banking connections.
  • Revenue assurance and Receivables management
  • Ensuring that all invoices are issued and revenue is recorded on schedule.
  • All GST and TDS compliance matters, including reconciliations, are handled.
  • Collections management and relationship maintenance with debtors

7. Daily Operations

  • Manage and oversee the department’s daily activities.
  • Examine ledgers and coordinate book close efforts with the team.
  • Monitoring and analysing accounting data and timely preparation of financial statements and management information systems

Skills Required :

  • Relevant educational background with 2 to 5 years of experience.
  • Individuals with entrepreneurial or industry experience are preferred..
  • Excellent communication skills are required, especially for presenting analysis results to management, team management, and multitasking
